
DANIEL GROOM
DIRECTOR
Daniel Groom is the director of Stonegate, bringing his passion for storytelling and cinematic vision to the screen. With a strong background in film production and a deep interest in character-driven narratives, Daniel strives to create work that is both visually striking and emotionally resonant. He has been involved in numerous creative projects, from independent shorts to larger collaborations, honing his craft as both a filmmaker and storyteller. Stonegate marks a major milestone in his directing career, showcasing his ability to balance suspense, emotion, and atmosphere. Daniel is excited to share this film with audiences and grateful to the cast, crew, and supporters who helped bring the project to life.

MARSHALL
Patrick McAvoy was raised in Rochester, NY, where he began acting on stage and received his first on-screen opportunity. He now lives in Massachusetts with his wife and children, balancing family life and coaching alongside his acting career. Drawing from a rich well of life experiences, he skillfully constructs and embodies diverse characters. With a passion for independent film, Patrick has appeared in numerous features and shorts across various genres, making a strong impact in the indie film community.

FR. GARRETT A. CLAYTON
Mark Lund founded International Figure Skating magazine in 1993, growing it into the world’s largest figure skating publication and expanding Ashton International Media into a multi-magazine enterprise. Since 1994, he has been a figure skating analyst for major TV networks, appearing over 220 times during the 2002 Winter Olympics. Lund wrote and produced several films, including the sci-fi feature First World (2006) and the acclaimed thriller Justice Is Mind (2010), with subsequent projects like First Signal premiering in 2021. He continues developing new film projects, including a Justice Is Mind sequel and the political thriller SOS United States.

NOLAN
Rowan Muzzy began his acting journey in theater at a young age, participating in school plays from the age of five. By eleven, he had gained further experience in community theater, performing in notable productions such as Peter Pan and Medea. He refined his skills through formal training at the Stella Adler Studio in New York City. Stonegate represents his first feature film role, marking a significant step in his professional career.

JAXSON
Aaron Weatherwax has loved acting ever since he first stepped on stage in the 3rd grade. Some of his favorite roles include Sir Harry in Once Upon a Mattress, Ryan Evans in High School Musical, Chip Tolentino in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Wilbur in Charlotte’s Web. He also had a great time playing Peter Muller in the short film Uncertainty by Brian Sanbourin. Stonegate is Aaron’s first feature film, and he’s excited for many more to come. He dreams of one day performing on Broadway and bringing characters to life on the big screen.

DIEGO
Jake discovered his love for acting in 2022 at just 10 years old. Since then, he has trained with Boston Casting and has enjoyed performing in a variety of community theater productions. Along with filming Stonegate, he also starred in the short film Best Interest of the Child, which premiered at the 2024 New Hampshire Film Festival. From Natick, Massachusetts , Jake has an older brother Cam, and a dog, Cash. When he’s not acting, he loves watching movies—especially thrillers and horror.

SKYLER
Gabrielle is thrilled to bring Skyler to life in Stonegate. She is pursuing a BFA in Film, TV, Voiceovers, and Commercials at Pace University in New York City and has trained with the Framingham High School Drama Company, The Barrow Group, and Boston Casting. Her credits include Misfits (Leah), lead roles in several student films (Until Forever Falls Apart, Technical Difficulties, My Life is Literally Ending), and stage productions such as In The Heights and High School Musical. She is grateful to the cast and crew of Stonegate for this opportunity, to her family and friends for their support, and gives special thanks to her mom.

HUNTER
Brian taught himself guitar, bass, and drums at 14 and played in local bands before joining the cover band The Dead and the Damned in 2014, then Doubleshot Boston from 2016 to 2021, while also performing with original act Devlyn Sydus. In 2020, he joined Audio Vex and created the concept for their “Remorseless” video, which reunited him with filmmaker Dan Groom. Since then, they’ve collaborated on several projects, including the feature film Stonegate, where he helped create the story concept and also plays Hunter Scritchfield.

KELLY
Patience McStravick is an actress, producer and United States Army Veteran based on the East Coast who has played various dramatic roles in both television and film. Most recently, she can be seen in the independent film Stonegate* (2025) and can be seen in the upcoming Historical-Drama Beneath the Loom.
After serving in the military, Patience studied acting at The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts in New York City and has continued her training with various studios in both New York and Boston.
Patience is best known for her roles as Kate Warne in the Emmy Award winning television program Assassin Nation* (2017) and independent film roles such as Major Ellen Sampson in First Signal* (2021) and Dr. Bartlett in Alternate Ground* (2020).

NURSE MARIA
Madison Crawford is an emerging actress known for her roles in Secrets Exposed (2022), Dead Girl Summer (2025), and Beyond the Gates (2025). She brings a fresh energy to each character, often gravitating toward projects that combine suspense, mystery, and strong emotional arcs. Outside of screen work, Madison stays connected with her audience via social media, where she shares insights into her acting journey and creative inspiration. As she continues to build her filmography, Madison has demonstrated versatility and a willingness to explore different genres—marking her as a talent to watch in the coming years.
